“For I would argue those who rely solely on sight are the ones who are truly blind.” This was so beautifully written.

This reminds me the importance of finding self by yourself. Without rules, limitations and standards society says is good for us.

Thanks for sharing :)!

Exactly, having sovereignty of yourself is the real luxury in this world. To be who you are regardless of what society tells you to be.

Thank you for reading, I appreciate it.

Great article! I believe that most of social media just creates more distractions for people, so they can’t achieve anything remarkable as they are fully busy watching someone else’s life.

Having a vision is very important to stay on track for your goals and don’t waste time watching others.

Thanks for sharing!

The Clarity Compass's avatar

Absolutely! To have the ability to focus on, and understand yourself is a privilege now. With social media continuously distracting us from ourselves.

I appreciate your thoughts as always Maxim.

Thank you for reading.

I've been contemplating a break from social media myself. this made me think about it even more. how much are we influenced by what we read, observe, how much do we believe just because it's in our face? very thought provoking, I enjoyed it very much.

The Clarity Compass's avatar

What we pay attention to really does impact who we become.

Im elated this made you contemplate and look within yourself. To be able to provoke thought, makes me feel accomplished.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. My words are landing where it’s meant to.

Technology is truly a crazy phenomenon and at times I feel like it may have more disadvantages than advantages yet I’m still very grateful for its pros.

You explored the cons of technology very well here, it was good to read.

I also think that everything is available at our fingertips nowadays we can literally search anything and thousands of results will come up and now something as precious and human as critical thinking is beginning to be replaced by AI as some people are beginning to depend on it slightly.

It’s a crazy world, really. We’re also so connected too. Which is good if you’re in a long distance relationship like me but other than that, technology can be incredibly addicted. I feel like everyone even my parents and the older generations are always on their phones, looking for that dopamine hit, that little bit of entertainment or that feeling of validation we get from likes and comments on our posts.

It’s interesting. This was an awesome read. Made me get a bit passionate with this comment haha 😆

Thank you so much!

You made many points that are so relatable. How social media is also affecting our parents in the exact same way. We are losing generational wisdom.

I really like how you mention AI and how it is hijacking’s peoples minds and therefore losing the sacred trait of critical thinking. It’s quite scary where the world is headed.

The fact I was able to ignite reflection such as this, is truly amazing. I love to see your enthusiasm and thank you once again for reading.

It's really amazing how in your essays you always give so much credit to God.

And it's heartbreaking to see so many people lose touch with their own selves nowadays. The gifts God gave them keep being neglected. Since priorities are set in the wrong order. Unfortunately.

Thank you for this piece. It's a wonderful reminder for all of us.

You got it spot on Liubov, we have digressed from God concious people to Humanism and ultimately completely forgot the one who created us sadly.

I wish more people saw the value they have within themselves that God gave, and if my writings can shed some light on that. Then I have done my job.

Thank you, for reading.
